Leaping off spirituality

In the spiritual realm, thought (which is the world) is considered illusion. The fix is then, that the whole thing revolves around the negative term illusion. It does not allow vision! Spiritual work is about knowing illusion which then becomes a kind of obsession. It implies an end; a passive waiting for the world to end, for somewhere to get to (enlightenment). But there is no end. This human form might play out its role at some point in time, but that will be the birth of another form. And it’s not very creative is it? Not that it’s a bad thing either – it’s better to be a meditator that a warmaker isn’t it? But it is not transformative, nor magnificent, nor fun, nor…

But that was then, this is now – goodbye to the reach for oneness and peace, hello to The Everchanging Vibrant Evolutionary Worlds of Consciousness and Matter. NOW we aim for the highest imaginable level. We place ourselves at the edge in every moment. We be the playful creators World. Now THAT will be fun!

The sensitivity of this human form, this body, is amazing. The inevitable result of this sensitivity is emotion. For instance, if someone criticises me, I can feel annoyed about it. We are not trying to get rid of emotion here, but let’s see how we can use it for positive transformation. If I think my irritation is personal, I get stuck there, I begin to act on it. In stead, I want to move it as the collective. What do I mean by that?
Taking a deep breath and open to life, letting energy flow thru you, shifts consciousness from personal to collective. When we do this, emotion seizes to be so – then we no longer label emotion as personal irritation, anger, fear etc. Emotion simply becomes energy. If we start thinking about the reasons and arguments for emotion, we miss out on the opportunity to let energy work in us. Emotion always wants to move us towards more beauty and grace! So first, we become the collective and get a feel for emotion as energy. This might take some practice.
Eventually you will see that moving, feeling, allowing emotion as energy, brings a totally new insight into what that emotion is all about. It will change you, move you, open your heart towards the greatness of life. After that, we see if any action, any personal stuff needs to be looked at. Mostly there is not.
It’s the greatest gift to learn how to change emotion into energy. Then all problems seizes to be fuelled by personal dramas. Everything turns into a dance, a potential, for wonderful, graceful change in the world.

Brain scientist Jill Bolte Taylor gets a stroke that stalls the left side hemisphere of her brain. And realises that she is not her thoughts, language, body – she is the consciousness that knows it.

Let the word point

What I would like to do is to point beyond the limitations of thought. To do this, I have to use thoughts and words of course. I can use different words for that which is beyond thought. I can use god, spirit, presence, consciousness, the now and many more. I personally prefer the word presence, because it isn’t burdened by history – like for example the word god is. But I don’t really care that much about what people call it. What’s important is, knowing in your heart, that the word POINTS. The word is a name for something that cannot be named.

Isn’t that just a wonderful thing? That we have words for something we can’t box in with concepts an ideas? So even if you were the most hardheaded atheist, you would have to admit that we do have words we can’t explain – be them silly or not.  It’s a real paradox. So there you have it: The opportunity to let the great mystery unfold from a single, simple word.

The end of death

In my lifetime I can roughly remember myself dying two times. The first time was when I saw that thought, which is the world, was illusion. The second time was when I saw that world is not illusion, but potential. On both these occasions the entire way in which I defined myself as a human being died away to be replaced by a completely new way of being. I don’t think these transformations are exclusive to me. These are steps in the evolution of human consciousness.

It’s incredibly useful to let the concept of death go. It might be this insight that has helped me the most on my path. That there is no such a thing as death. Or to put it in another way – the only death there is, is the dying away from the thought of death. To realize this, one must feel deep into oneself. When we do this we can feel, that birth and death is simply the fundamental way life expresses itself. Nothing is solid. The world is merely vibrating between birth and death, between poles. Energy is moving, evolving all time.

We get born and die constantly, all the time. Every cell of our body dies and gets replaced all the time. Our thoughts comes and goes. The same with emotion. The same with all sensory perception. There is no solid you that can die, because experience is changyness itself. When all there is, dies and gets born relentlessly, what is this we call death?
